Topo by Nanimarquina explores form, balance and visual tension. The design challenges conventional rug proportions by positioning a large circle at the very edge of the rectangular surface, creating a composition defined by graphic clarity and deliberate spatial tension.
The rug is handwoven using handspun Afghan wool, crafted with the traditional kilim technique. The natural texture and subtle variations in the yarn highlight the artisanal origin while adding tactile depth that softens the strict geometric gesture.
Topo is available in three monochromatic colourways – black, green or red – each contrasted against a raw, uncoloured background. A rug that acts as a strong visual feature within the interior, particularly suited to spaces where design contributes to identity, rhythm and architectural presence.
