Fried Egg is produced, among other things, in this elegant variant with a frame in teak and upholstery in a number of beautiful types of leather.
The leather is carefully selected for the Warm Nordic range, and the Fried Egg chair is now available in the high-quality leathers Challenger in Pickle green and Soave Nature as well as the new natural Vitoria leather. The leather upholstery has been carefully selected for its ability to achieve a beautiful patina over time, testifying to the material's viability and history. Warm Nordic introduces the beautiful olive-tanned Vitoria leather, which is a soft, and natural aniline quality leather from Nevotex. It is not possible to get any closer to natural, raw leather than with aniline leather - and in addition to this, Vitoria creates a special connection to the nature around us through the leather's history and characteristics. Vitoria leather is of European origin, as it is being produced ecologically safely in Spain, where the rawhides derive from carefully selected suppliers in the area near the tannery.
The production process behind the leather is unique because it makes use of olive leaves in the tanning stage, which makes it non-toxic, reduces water consumption, and, therefore, is better for the environment. The leather will have natural scars and marks, but this is an expression of the animals' wellbeing, as this means that the animals have lived in larger outdoor spaces with room to walk around.
Each piece of leather used by Warm Nordic is handpicked in Portugal by our furniture manufacturer, which ensures the overall quality of the furniture. Bringing furniture upholstered with Vitoria home in your own space will enable the leather to alter according to the setting, it is placed in.
