The Arctander chair was designed by Philip Arctander in 1944. It is also known as Muslingestolen – the Clam chair. In 2016, Paustian put the chair back into production, in collaboration with Sofie Arctander Paustian.

The Chair is available in a version with. or without armrests and in a vide variety of fabrics, leathers and sheepskin.
This version is in in oiled oak without armrests - upholstered in Gotland Sheepskin.
Arctander Chair has been introduced with a new seat height and a more upright position suitable for the contract and lounge environment in 2020.
